Saturday 5th June 2010 - Married for 3550 days

The Reception

In the spirit of avoiding tradition like it's going out of fashion, we're not having a reception in the formal stuffy manner that your Nan would expect to see, but instead we're having a celebration, a big old party. The celebration starts immediately after the ceremony. No waiting around for photos, no sitting at a table next to deaf Great Aunty Mabel watching your P's and Q's - we want you to enjoy your day too, so just mingle and enjoy the great food, drink and company.

Our numbers are limited for the ceremony, so our evening guests will join us from 6.30pm to enjoy the entertainment, join in the fun and frivolity and eat, drink and make merry as we party on through to midnight.

Venue name: Dairy Barns

Address:
Lound Farm, Hickling Lane
Hickling, Norfolk
NR12 0BE

Tel: 01692 598243
Web: http://www.dairybarns.co.uk/

There is plenty of parking available around the farmyard and on a dedicated grass parking area in the field directly opposite the barn.

Please use the off road parking provided and don't block access along the narrow road for farm machinery, sheep etc.

Yes - it's all very rural!

We appreciate that our choice of venue is a remote (but beautiful) location so we are keen to explore ways of keeping the number of individual cars and taxi costs down to a minimum. In addition to the car share scheme on this website, we would like to gauge interest in us organising a coach service from/to Norwich City Centre, both for local residents and those from further afield who may prefer to stay in Norwich itself. If this service would be of definite interest to you then please indicate on your RSVP response. If you register your interest we will keep you informed by email and the Transport & Travel page of this site.
